In accordance with the guidance of the Agency for Cultural Affairs and the National Police Agency, we do not provide instruction in test cutting using a serious Japanese sword, except to our students and certain other people.

A samurai training experience suitable for those with a penchant for the real thing, supervised by Isao Machii, the world's leading iaijutsu practitioner, who is also known for cutting 6mm BB bullets fired at high speed with a Japanese sword.

In Shushinryu Iaijutsu Hyoho, you can experience training in authentic Iaijutsu that does not damage the sword and does not rely on muscular strength.

Our precise and advanced teaching techniques make it possible for even women with limited strength to learn with confidence, including beginners.

We also teach those who have doubts about their own iai or who are struggling with their own iai, regardless of the style.

A part of the Tada Shrine grounds is completely reserved for training in authentic Iaijutsu, swordsmanship, and body techniques in a quiet and solemn atmosphere.

Instruction will be given by Isao Machii.

The fee is 10,000 yen more on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays.

Afternoon session 13:00-16:00 

Duration, approximately 3 hours each for both morning and afternoon sessions
